Les Pierres Blanches is a charming mid-19th century house located in the pretty village of Resteigne, one hour south of Brussels, in the heart of the beautiful Ardennes region of southern Belgium. It is the home of Julian and Jane Chapman who warmly invite you to visit, be it for a peaceful family holiday or for a time of rest and retreat as an individual, couple or small group, in the hope that you will be refreshed and blessed by your time here.

Les Pierres Blanches

Les Pierres Blanches has five spacious ensuite bedrooms and a self-catering apartment for up to four people. In addition, it offers several other facilities including a guest lounge which can also serve as a room for meetings, a library, a children's playroom, a conservatory, a chapel and a large secluded garden.

Some visitors come to stay at Les Pierres Blanches just to rest in the house and garden and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside and the many nearby walks. Les Pierres Blanches is part of the worldwide Quiet Garden Movement (www.quietgarden.co.uk).

For those interested in some tourism, the Ardennes region is characterised by its vast open spaces, forested hills, meandering river valleys, and remarkable cave formations. It is dotted with castles and monasteries as well as welcoming small towns and stone villages. It is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing and riding.

For guests wanting to explore further afield while here, not only several beautiful Flemish medieval cities, including Bruges, but no fewer than four other countries - France, Germany, Holland and Luxembourg - can all be visited on day trips.

Les Pierres Blanches is easily accessible from Britain and neighbouring countries - it is only three hours drive from Calais and there are frequent flights and Eurostar trains to Brussels - which makes it an attractive destination for short breaks as well as longer stays.
